Over here at Sterling Photography we work hard….and we play hard!

Here’s a little clip of some of the outright foolishness that goes down at the studio. Lol. It’s entitled: “Chanel in the Wild”: Watch as Dimitri Fevrier enters fearlessly into the wild of the jungle to try and document on film the unedited Chanel Renee in her natural habitat.

A True Southern Belle…

“Being taught at an early age to be a wonderful hostess and how to treat people,” is only one of the many hospitable characteristics that model Dawn Mississippi possesses. She’s a true Southern Belle all the way from Hattiesburg, Mississippi, who now resides in Atlanta, Georgia. Dawn loves anything high fashion but also enjoys simple living like walking around bare-footed. “I try to enjoy that here in Georgia, but get these ugly stares when I talk about walking around bare-footed,” says Dawn, “It’s funny at photoshoots, I try to wear no shoes. It makes me feel comfortable and feel at home.”
Mississippi based celebrity fashion photographer, Will Sterling, has always encouraged Dawn to be herself. “Allowing Dawn to be bare-footed or whatever else she wants to do to in order to be comfortable produces dynamic artistry,” says Sterling.
Dawn Mississippi and Will Sterling are only two pieces of this collaborative puzzle. Mississippi’s own J. Stuktuur, MUA and Hair Stylist and LaureNicole, celebrity fashion stylist/designer, showcase their passions for art through their respectable formats. All of these fashion professionals from Mississippi have exhibited their talents across the nation, making a positive name for the fashion industry in Mississippi. Thanks to these professionals, not only does Mississippi have culture, class and a rich history, she has the style and fashion savyness to match.

Citizens of Mississippi…..are you ready??

Sterling Photography is beginning a statewide campaign. We are currently in the process of creating and publishing MISSISSIPPI’S VERY FIRST HAIR BOOK!! Entitled “Sterling: Where Hair Meets Fashion”.
This hair book will feature hair stylist, barbers, makeup artists, wardrobe stylist, etc.

In the meantime [and in between time] here go alter ego photoshoots and creative concepts that we’ve done over the years.
