“Being taught at an early age to be a wonderful hostess and how to treat people,” is only one of the many hospitable characteristics that model Dawn Mississippi possesses. She’s a true Southern Belle all the way from Hattiesburg, Mississippi, who now resides in Atlanta, Georgia. Dawn loves anything high fashion but also enjoys simple living like walking around bare-footed. “I try to enjoy that here in Georgia, but get these ugly stares when I talk about walking around bare-footed,” says Dawn, “It’s funny at photoshoots, I try to wear no shoes. It makes me feel comfortable and feel at home.”
Mississippi based celebrity fashion photographer, Will Sterling, has always encouraged Dawn to be herself. “Allowing Dawn to be bare-footed or whatever else she wants to do to in order to be comfortable produces dynamic artistry,” says Sterling.
